Steve Kozie | 3d Artist

I am a 3D Artist currently working as an Independent Game Developer, living in Western Canada. Prior to this, I played a prominent role in the creation and development of Nougat Software Entertainment, serving as a 3D Artist modeling character and game assets for multiple projects. Previously, I was Lead Artist for a student run project to make a historical recreation of a Lethbridge POW internment camp entitled "Camp 133", as well as some contract texture work for Hermit Works Entertainment. I graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a New Media Degree at the top of my class in 2011, where I was the recipient of 2010 (U of L) Film Festival Best Narrative Under Five Minutes for a 3D Animation I created entitled "The Catalyst". There, I also participated in a Global Game Jam, curated a Faculty Digital Art Show, and contributed to several student run game design projects. I received my Certificate of Fine Arts from Grande Prairie Regional College in 2007, taking the program with an emphasis on game design. While in attendance, I received several scholarships, had artwork accepted into numerous gallery showings, and filled the role of Art Director for the college newspaper.
